Bay to Bay in May is an annual Bike, Run, Walk event that happens during the first weeks of May in Cordova, Alaska.  The event is a family friendly event with lots of participation.  Get your bike and your body ready to get out and enjoy the trek from Hartney Bay to Orca Adventure Lodge along the beautiful Cordova waterfront.

 It is spring, the salmonberry blossoms are blooming, lots of leaves are popping out, the first Varied thrush and kingfisher sounds are in the air.  The next week holds many fun and exciting events.  Begin on May 1st by attending the Copper River Gallery Art Show at 5 pm at the Covdova Center, then move on to the heART Wall at the Reluctant Fisherman Restaurant and attend Erin Cooper's Art opening at 6:30pm.  Art purchased on the heART Wall supports the artist and the community project to build covered spaces in Cordova.  For more information about the Covered Spaces Project visit cordovacoveredspaces.org
